KCR: KCR did justice .. Chiranjeevi responding on ticket rates

It is well known that the Telangana government has said a sweet word to the Telugu film industry regarding movie ticket rates. The Telangana government on Friday issued Jeevo to increase ticket rates during the film’s release. Chiranjeevi, the top hero of the Telugu film industry, took to Twitter to respond to this issue. Chiranjeevi tweeted his thanks to Telangana Chief Minister KCR.

According to the Jivo released by the Telangana state government on Friday, the price in AC theaters may be between Rs 50 and Rs 150. Also in multiplexes it should be between Rs.100-250. A maximum of Rs 300 can be charged for recliner seats in multiplexes. The film industry has been waiting for the ticket rates to increase since time immemorial. In addition, the film industry, especially the theaters, suffered greatly due to factors such as the closure of theaters during Kovid’s tenure.

In this context, the owners of Telangana theaters have recently approached the High Court seeking permission to increase the price of movie tickets. The court, which heard the case, ruled in favor of raising ticket prices. It also directed the government to suggest modalities for raising ticket prices. In this context, the state government has appointed a committee of officials to finalize ticket prices. The committee, which held talks with senior celebrities, made some recommendations to the government. Based on them, the government has recently issued orders to increase ticket prices.
