The fourth installment of ‘John Wick’, starring Keanu Reeves, is causing a sensation in theaters. According to Box Office Mojo, The movie about the public’s favorite murderer has so far grossed $79.4 million in the United States and $66.5 million in the rest of the world.for a total of nearly $146 million in its first week of release.
In this new installment, Keanu Reeves, in total, says only 380 words. If it is taken into account that the actor received a payment of $15 million dollars, this means that they gave him $39,473 for each word spokenas reported on UPROXX.
The longest sentence that Keanu says in the film is: “You and I left a good life behind a long time ago, my friend”. (“You and I left a good life behind a long time ago, my friend.”)
Just for that phrase, the actor earned more than half a million dollars, exactly $552,622 dollars.
It is clear that Keanu Reeves received the millionaire payment not only for what he said, but also for his performance. and the stunts he performed in some fight scenes. However, it’s an interesting exercise to break down his payout using his dialogue as a starting point.
