A blanket of snow has covered Kedarnath Temple, a famous shrine in Uttarakhand. Officials said that it has been snowing there since last night. Around 5 feet of snow has accumulated in the Kedarnath temple and its surroundings. All the hills were covered with snow and turned white. Scenes related to this are going viral on social media. In some places snowfall is falling like rain. In this context, the authorities have issued guidelines for the tourists. An announcement has been issued that the roads are closed in many ways and people should follow the instructions.
‘Due to rain and snow, debris grazed the road near Dharasu Bund and Bandarkot on the Gangotri National Highway. The Yamunotri National Highway has been blocked along with other places like Jankichatti and Radi Top. Please travel carefully,’ advised the Uttarkashi police.
