New Delhi. After coming out of jail on interim bail, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting with all his corporation councilors on Monday. Addressing the corporation councilors, he said that I will have to go back to jail on June 2. If you people form the India Alliance government on June 4, then I will come out only on June 5.
He (Arvind Kejriwal) further said that the people of BJP had sent me to jail thinking that this would break the MLAs, councilors and workers of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Will topple the government in Delhi and MCD. Their efforts failed and because of this our party will fight even more unitedly. ‘AAP’ is not just a party but a family and idea, which is impossible to break.
Kejriwal further said that I was stopped from meeting my wife. I was introduced to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann as if we were criminals. There were two CCTV cameras installed in my cell, which were constantly monitored by 13 officers. Also, Prime Minister Modi was also looking at me.
He (Arvind Kejriwal) further said that when I was arrested, I was mentally prepared that I would have to stay in jail for 6 months. But by the grace of God today I am among you all. Attacking BJP, he said that till three months ago there was talk of BJP getting 400 seats, today the situation has changed. Now questions are being raised on his crossing 250. They tried to break me by humiliating me inside the jail and stopping my medication. They stopped my insulin. But, it was only when you raised your voice that I was given insulin.
