New Delhi. Delhi government announced scholarship in the name of Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar. It has been named Ambedkar Samman Scholarship. Under this scheme, students of Dalit community will be given financial assistance to study abroad. Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that children of government employees will also benefit under this scheme.
Kejriwal (Arvind Kejriwal) said that this scheme (scholarship) is prescribed for the children of Dalit class. Delhi government will bear their expenses for studies and preparation for jobs after studies. Under this, children of Dalit class will be able to go abroad and study under scholarship.
He (Arvind Kejriwal) also made it clear that children of employees and officers coming from Dalit class will also be able to benefit from this scheme. They will also be able to get the benefit of this scheme. Kejriwal said that in response to the way Bharatiya Janata Party has insulted Baba Saheb in the Parliament, we have come up with this scheme for the Dalit class in honor of Baba Saheb.
While launching the scholarship, Arvind Kejriwal said that three days ago Amit Shah made fun of Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Even when Baba Saheb was alive, he used to make fun of him throughout his life. He further said, “Today I announce Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship. Under this scholarship, if any child from the Dalit community wants to study in any top university of the world, then that child can take admission in that university and the Delhi government will bear all the expenses of his education.
