Khalifa Khalid is winning the title of classic chess in Al Ain

Yesterday, the activities of the classic chess championship were concluded, within the Al Ain Chess Festival organized by Al Ain Chess and Mental Games, with the wide participation of players and players from different countries of the world.
The championship cup and the gold medal, the international player Khalifa Khaled, was crowned after a distinguished performance during the competitions, and the international player Mohamed Saeed Al Shamsi, who crowned the silver medal, came in the second place, while Abdullah Younis Al -Khumiri won the third place and the bronze medal.
Al -Rim Mubarak Al -Muhairi won the Best Player Award, while Sheikha Abdullah Al -Muraikhi won the second place award for women, and the names of Makhlji were ranked third at the girls ’level.
Ahmed Younis Al -Khamiri won the Best Emerging Under -14 Award, while Saad Jaber came second, and Sheikha Nasser Al Shamsi won the Best Emerging Under -14 Award, while player Mercka Prakash won the second place award for the same category.
Saeed Nasser Al -Shamsi won the Best Elephable Under -12 Award, while player Ivan Matthew finished second, and the player Noura Salem won the award for best emerging under 12 years, and Fatima Nasser Al Shamsi won the second place award.
Hamdan Al Ali won the award for best emerging under 10 years, while Hazza Obaid Al -Zaabi won the second place award, and Asma Khadoun won the award for the best under -10 player, while Moza Hamdan Al -Kindi came in second place.
Haya Haseeb won the Best Emerging Award for the 8 -year category, while Rashid Al -Ketbi finished second, and the King of Mohammed Saeed won the Best Emerging U -8 Award, and Maryam Hamdan Al -Kindy ranked second, while Hamdan Obaid Al -Zaabi won the award for the best beginner, while Rashid Obaid finished Al -Zaabi in second place.
The closing ceremony was attended by the winners, His Excellency Omar Al -Waswasi, a member of the club’s board of directors, who praised the level of competition and organization, noting the importance of the classic chess championship in developing the skills of players and supporting promising talents.
He stressed the necessity of developing the club’s competitions with the aim of achieving the maximum technical benefit for players and players in a way that positively reflects on raising their international rankings and developing their results in local, continental and international competitions, appreciating the support and directives of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council to upgrade the sport system in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in various games.
