The Futsal Super Cup match for the 2023-2024 sports season will begin at seven in the evening today, bringing together the Khorfakkan and Al-Bataeh teams in the sports hall of the Police Sports and Shooting Club in Ajman, coinciding with the official opening of the club.
The Khor Fakkan team qualified for the Super Cup, being the champion of the last edition of the President’s Cup, while the Al-Bataeh team qualified for the match, being the runner-up in the league championship last season.
The Super Cup is the third tournament organized by the Futsal Committee this season, after the two Federation Cup tournaments, which were won by Al-Bataeh, and the Emirates Cup for reserve teams, which was won by the Ittihad Kalba team.
Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Police Sports and Shooting Club, said that the club is honored to host the Futsal Super Cup final within the framework of strengthening cooperation to support the sports sector, confirming in press statements the club’s readiness to host various sports tournaments in the country.
In turn, Chairman of the Futsal Executive Committee, Abdul Malik Jani, told Emirates Al-Youm: “Holding the Super Cup match between Khor Fakkan and Al-Bataeh in Ajman comes within the bonds of cooperation between the committee and the General Command of Ajman Police, and we extend our thanks and appreciation to them for the kind invitation and their great keenness to provide the supplies.” The main one that suits the UAE Futsal and the Super Cup championships, and providing means of comfort for the public,” indicating that “holding the Super Cup aims to continue spreading the culture of practicing futsal in the various sporting bodies of the country, and that the Executive Committee is keen to enhance cooperation with all parties.”
