Amazon has scheduled its Prime Day discount campaign for the 11th and 12th of July. The promotion will lower prices for the company’s devices, such as Kindle and Echo Dot, by up to 40%, in 25 countries, including Brazil.
Payments via Pix and boleto will have an extra 10% discount, according to the general director of Amazon Devices, Jacques Benain, at the campaign launch event. The adapter for SmartTV Fire TV Stick, the voice remote control and the smart screen Echo Show, integrated with Alexa, are also in the category.
Only Amazon Prime subscribers have access to special pricing. The subscription package offers free delivery and access to Prime Video, Reading, Gaming and Amazon Music platforms. Smart home products such as light bulbs will also be on offer.
In 2022, the discount for Kindle was 23% (R$ 349 to R$ 269) and for Echo Dot (R$ 249), at 38%.
Non-customers can take the 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime and access offers.
On Prime Video, rental titles will be discounted up to 50% for Amazon Prime subscribers. Members will also get free access to the unlimited version of Amazon Music for four months.
Prime Gaming will also release one free game per week until the next 12th. “Prey”, “Baldur’s Gate II”, “Shovel Knight: Showdown” and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed” will be the promotional titles.
Prime Reading won new books, such as the best sellers “Dune”, by Frank Herbert, “Me and My Heart”, by CC Hunter, and the literary classic “1984”, by George Orwell.
During Prime Day, Amazon will also make available a curated online list of the best selling products by small and medium-sized businesses hosted on the marketplace.
