The King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue revealed the names of the winners of the “National Dialogue Award” for which 176 participants competed in its first edition, during a meeting held at its headquarters in Riyadh, in the presence of the Center’s Secretary-General, Dr. Abdullah Al-Furan, and Deputy Secretary-General Ibrahim Al-Asiri.
The names of the winners announced yesterday in the four branches were as follows, where he won in the branch of government institutions in partnership between the Ministry of Justice for the “Shaml” program and King Abdulaziz University for the Prince Khaled Al-Faisal Institute for Moderation, and in the branch of private sector institutions, Al-Fawzan Holding Company won, while In the Civil Society Institutions branch, the Abdulaziz bin Talal and Surra Bint Saud Foundation for Human Development won the “Ahyaha” initiative, and the Charitable Center for the Teaching of the Qur’an and its Sciences, Riyadh Branch, “Learning Program”, while the Individuals section won it by Mr. Muhammad Al-Mousa, “Amazing is a bosom.”
Keeping pace with qualitative leaps
The Secretary-General of the Center, Dr. Abdullah Al-Fawzan, said in an exclusive statement to Al Arabiya Net: that the National Dialogue Award is in keeping with the qualitative leaps that Saudi Arabia is witnessing in all fields to achieve the aspirations of Vision 2030 towards building a vibrant and prosperous society, and the award was based on a set of criteria that contribute to strengthening The system of positive values that the center seeks to consolidate in society, in order to achieve the visions and aspirations of our wise leadership, may God protect them, by spreading the culture of dialogue, tolerance, coexistence and cohesion among all spectrums of society, and confronting all that threatens their social fabric.
He added: “The award comes in appreciation and gratitude to government institutions, private sector institutions, civil society and individuals, and to motivate them to continue to give and actively contribute to promoting the values of tolerance, coexistence and national cohesion that the Center seeks to promote in society, in line with the qualitative leaps that the Kingdom is witnessing. In all fields, to achieve the aspirations of Vision 2030 in building a vibrant and prosperous society.”

Al-Fawzan said that “the National Dialogue Award was distinguished in its first edition by its high level and the richness of its branches and topics that focused on national values, which was translated by the demand for participation in it, through 176 works, topped by the participation of individuals with 95 participations.” Then the participation of the government sector with 57 participants, then the participation of civil society institutions with 17 participants, then the participation of the private sector with 7 participations.
The Secretary-General of the Center congratulated the winners for their outstanding work in this award, expressing his thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to its success and achievement of its goals, expressing his hope that the award in its future editions will continue to play its distinguished role in promoting the system of positive values that the Center seeks to promote.
