The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, directed the extension of the citizen account program with its current mechanism, while continuing to provide temporary additional support to its beneficiaries for a period of four months, until the next July batch, in addition to continuing to open registration for it.
This came based on what Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs, submitted, as part of their continuous care for male and female citizens in order to protect deserving families from the repercussions of the effects of global price hikes.
This comes as a continuation of the royal directive issued in July of the year 2022 AD, which included allocating an amount of (20) billion riyals, including (eight billion) riyals as additional financial support for the beneficiaries of the Citizen Account Program for the end of the fiscal year 2022 AD, in addition to reopening registration in the Citizen Account Program according to the announced controls. In advance, as well as the royal directive issued in January 2023 AD, to extend the additional support for a period of three months for the first quarter of the current fiscal year, which lasted for the month of March.
