Today, Sunday, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz said that God has made Eid “an opportunity for high morals, harmony, fraternity, tolerance and forgiveness,” praying to God to “rejoice our hearts with it, and help us all to achieve his purposes of showing pleasure and joy.”
This came in a speech on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr for this year, addressed to citizens and residents in Saudi Arabia and all Muslims around the world, and delivered by the Minister of Information in charge, Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his congratulations on the occasion of Eid. From the side of the Sacred House of God, and he said: “Happy New Year, and may God bring back to us and you the feast, as we travel in the clothes of security, safety, health and happiness, as we ask Him, Glory be to Him, to protect our country and the countries of the world from all evil and disgrace,” praising God for “what he has bestowed upon us and you.” , from fasting and performing the blessed month of Ramadan,” and asking him to “accept everyone’s good deeds.”
He added: “The great honor that God has distinguished our country with, by serving the Two Holy Mosques, ensuring the comfort of the pilgrims, Umrah pilgrims and visitors, and providing them with the finest services, is a source of pride for all of us, for which we strive dearly and preciously, in fulfillment of the responsibility that God has chosen us for. And sensing the holiness of this great duty,” he continued: “We thank God that he enabled us to continue this great work, since the era of the founder, King Abdul Aziz (may God rest his soul), and this country followed him, led by his sons, kings after him – may God have mercy on them – and we are still and remain proud. We are honored to continue the mission, with the highest efficiency and most distinguished giving, God willing.”
King Salman indicated that “from God’s grace, Saudi Arabia re-allowed the use of the full capacity in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque. We have succeeded in working with the highest levels of responsibility, seriousness and innovation, in facing the pandemic and mitigating its effects, which bore positive fruits on most aspects of life.” For the directives, instructions and guidelines associated with the pandemic.
