King Salman on the death of Sheikh Khalifa: We lost a dear brother who dedicated his life to serving his people

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, offered his deepest condolences to the UAE and its sheikhs on the death of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stressing that the Arab nation has lost a leader who dedicated his life to serving his country.

And King Salman wrote in a tweet via Twitter, “We lost today my dear brother Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan – may God have mercy on him – who devoted his life to serving his people and advancing his state, and while we offer our condolences to ourselves and our family in the United Arab Emirates on the death of the late, we ask God to accept him.” With His mercy, forgiveness, and pleasure, and may He reward him with the best reward for what he gave to his people and his nation.”

Shared grief and great injury

This came after the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed deep condolences and sympathy to the government of the United Arab Emirates, the honorable Al Nahyan family and the brotherly Emirati people, and to the Arab and Islamic nations on the death of a leader who gave a lot to his people, his nation and the world, according to a statement transmitted by the Royal Court. Saudi.

The statement also stated, on Friday, that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince received with great sadness and great sorrow the news of the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.

King Salman and Prince Mohammed bin Salman also affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people share their sorrows with the brothers in the United Arab Emirates, in this great affliction, praying to God to perpetuate the Emirates security, stability, prosperity and prosperity.

In turn, the Saudi Foreign Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the sisterly United Arab Emirates on the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed.

Official mourning and flags at half-mast

It is noteworthy that the UAE had announced, on Friday, the death of the President of the State, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed.

And the Ministry of Presidential Affairs wrote on its Twitter account: “We mourn to the people of the UAE, the Arab and Islamic nations, and the whole world, the leader of the nation and the patron of his march, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, who moved to the side of his Lord satisfied today, May 13.”

It also announced official mourning and flags at half-mast for a period of 40 days, starting today, and suspending work in ministries, departments, federal and local institutions, and the private sector for 3 days, starting from tomorrow, Saturday, with the official working hours to resume next Tuesday.
