KN Govindacharya said – Misuse of natural resources: Said – how will the country move forward in which the cow’s eyes are dry

KN Govindacharya said that the direction of development needs to be linked to nature rather than GDP-material resources.

Former National Organization General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party and RSS ideologue KN Govindacharya expressed concern over the nature being tampered with for development. Addressing a lecture program on nature-centred development at Jaipur’s Subodh College on Wednesday, Govindacharya said that the government has failed to save nature by involving the common man.

Govindacharya said that till now no government has paid any attention to nature. This is the reason that under the pressure of market capitalism, governments are not able to do any work for the protection and upliftment of nature. He said that many people are doing the work of conservation of nature in this country. But now everyone needs to work unitedly.

He said that one percent of the people of India own 57 percent of the resources. The number of people living on less than a dollar has gone up to crores. The world has not changed as much in 5000 thousand years, as much has changed in 500 years. It didn’t change in 500 years, that much changed in 50 years. 200 years ago, every village had cows, land, grazing ponds, but we have lost everything. Now have to join it back.

Govindacharya said that we are misusing the resources of nature. One has to think about the coming generations. We need to link the direction of development with nature rather than GDP or material resources. The farmer of the village thinks when there is no rain, God is angry. But they are not aware of climate change. Where good work is going on with the help of people, that place is like a pilgrimage. Those who are working it are like gods.

Today, to save the crops in the country, fencing was done. But the hungry cow is bleeding by hanging her neck. How will a country move forward if the cow has empty eyes? He said that a team is bigger than an individual. But the country is bigger than the party. Whatever you know, believe it, power is behind. Society will have to move ahead with this. The circle in which we have to cross. It is necessary to try to agree with dialogue, sharing experience.

During this, Padmashree Laxman Singh said that nothing can happen in life without determination. Having your own home can’t be everything. The village will also have to be rectified. Only then there will be development. He said that mutual love and respect will also increase with Shramdaan and if you work, you will be successful.
