During an interview for Verónica Linares’ YouTube channel, Korina Rivadeneira recounted her experience as a new mother. Part of this was breastfeeding, a phase that brought a lot of pain to the model.

“We had a very bad time. You know how I spent it with breastfeeding. LI have had a very bad time. The first few months I had a terrible time, but horrible like that —horrible, horrible—, and it affected me a lot. But he (Mario Hart) understood me a lot and that’s good because it’s not that he didn’t care, but that he was there for me all the time. He was like holding me, giving me strength, understanding me, because he even cried for me. He saw me suffering like this and he told me: ‘I swear I can’t understand’. He went out of his way to help me,” she described.

“I had early mastitis. I got a fever every five seconds for four days. She had raw, broken nipples. Yes, blood and pieces, ”recalled the influencer.

Korina felt that her daughter only wanted to be with her for milk: “I felt that I couldn’t take it anymore: it’s very strong. I felt like an object. I would come home from work and she (Lara) would get desperate in a way (…) that she wanted to break my shirt, she would grab me, suck one tit, then another and then she would leave as if I didn’t exist. It was just one thing to her: she was a walking tit.”

“Breastfeeding was a terrifying thing. For me it was a trauma (…). I don’t want to scare moms because I get criticized a lot for it. It’s not that it scares them, it’s that it’s reality: some women do well, some do badly, and I’m from this group, “she concluded.
