Free vaccination for all residents will begin after the expiry of the six-week period set aside for the distribution of vaccines exclusively to priority groups, including the elderly and those with serious health problems. The vaccine is available free of charge at 205 health centers across the country. The ministry said it was mandatory to make an appointment in advance.
Those in the priority category can be vaccinated at the vaccine distribution center without making an appointment. The Health and Immunization Minister said that the campaign to give the vaccine to priority groups such as the elderly, people with heart disease, diabetes and respiratory problems has been a great success. Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad bin Nasser Al Uwais reported. As a result, 72.89 per cent of the elderly and 56.59 per cent of other priority groups were vaccinated.
