More restrictions from today
The restrictions will take effect in Qatar from today in the wake of the Kovid outbreak. Gymnasiums will be closed from today. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the malls. The number of people will be restricted to places such as movie theaters, museums and indoor restaurants. Visits to places such as social gatherings, houses and majlis are prohibited. Elsewhere, there will be restrictions on more than five people joining. Control is indefinite from today.

The malls are off-limits to those under 12 years of age
Admission to malls is restricted to those under 12 years of age. Gymnasiums and driving schools will also be closed from Friday. Public buses and metros carry only 20% of passengers on weekends. 30% of passengers can travel on other days. Churches will be open for prayers. Sanitation sites and toilets will continue to be closed. Movie theaters will operate at 20% capacity only. Previously it was 30 per cent. Admission will not be open to anyone under the age of 18 from Friday.
Ban on weddings
From today, weddings are not allowed in closed or open spaces. Playgrounds and gymnasiums in parks, beaches and cornices will be closed. Restaurants and cafes should only operate at 15 percent capacity. Restaurants and cafes with the Clean Qatar Program Certificate can accommodate up to 30 percent of people. Traditional markets can operate at 30% capacity.
