After the New Year holidays, schoolchildren in Russia will again study in full-time format, said the head of the Ministry of Education Sergei Kravtsov on December 23.
“As for the format [обучения]next year and after the winter holidays – full-time format “, – said Kravtsov to reporters.
He added that the remote format will be introduced only in cases when the epidemiological situation requires it.
“But so far we do not see any reason to use this format [онлайн] or extend the vacation. We will see how the holidays go and what the epidemiological situation will be, ”the minister said.
In addition, Kravtsov answered the question about the day off on December 30 for teachers. According to him, this year the situation with the spread of infections, including coronavirus, is “not so acute”, which gives each region the right to declare this day a day off or not.
Earlier, on December 8, Rospotrebnadzor made recommendations to schools in some regions to transfer training to remote mode due to the increase in the incidence of ARVI.
So, in Pskov, all schools have switched to remote education since December 8. The regional governor Mikhail Vedernikov said that the remote mode will affect students from the 5th to the 11th grade.

From November 29 to December 5 in the Kaluga Region, due to the high incidence of respiratory infections, 136 classes in 28 schools were transferred to distance learning.
