Chandigarh. BJP leader and newly elected MLA from Haryana Krishan Lal Panwar resigned from the Rajya Sabha on Monday. Panwar met Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar and submitted his resignation saying that he is starting his new innings in Haryana after being elected MLA from Israna.
Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar has accepted the resignation of Rajya Sabha MP from Haryana Krishan Lal Panwar with immediate effect, finding it in accordance with constitutional provisions. With the resignation of Panwar (Krishan Lal Panwar), one seat in the Rajya Sabha from Haryana has become vacant. Let us tell you that his name is also being considered among the possible ministers of Haryana. He is also the state vice president of BJP Haryana.
In this regard, the Vice President said on ‘X’, “Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar have accepted the resignation of Krishan Lal Panwar, Rajya Sabha member from Haryana, with immediate effect and It has been found to be in accordance with the constitutional provisions.” With the resignation of Krishna Lal Panwar, one seat from Haryana will become vacant in the Rajya Sabha.
Out of 90 assembly seats in Haryana, BJP has captured 48 seats. At the same time, three independent candidates who won have also supported BJP. Krishan Lal Panwar has defeated Balbir Singh Balmiki of Congress from Israna assembly seat. Krishna Lal Panwar has defeated the Congress candidate by a margin of 13,895 votes. Recently, when Krishna Lal Panwar was asked about his chances of becoming a minister, he had said, “If I get the responsibility of cabinet, I will fulfill it well.”
