UnnaoFormer BJP leader Kuldeep Singh Sengar, convicted of the rape case in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, has got a 24 -hour relief. The Delhi High Court on Monday gave Sanger this relief to undergo a cataract surgery.
According to the information received, they have to go to AIIMS for surgery on 4 February and surrender 5 the next day. The Delhi High Court has given this relief to Kuldeep Singh Sengar for cataract surgery in the eyes. On 4 February, he will be admitted to AIIMS and has been instructed to surrender on 5 February. Sanger is serving a 10 -year sentence. The CBI was protested by the granting of interim bail.

During the last hearing, the lawyer appearing for Kuldeep Singh Sengar said that he had to undergo cataract surgery and AIIMS had fixed January 24 for surgery. At that time, the doctors were not available for the operation due to non -availability of doctors.
Significantly, the Unnao rape case is of the year 2017. On 4 June 2017, a case of gang rape was reported with a 17 -year -old girl. On 16 December 2019, former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar was convicted of rape on 20 June on charges of gangrape. On December 2019, Sengar was sentenced to life imprisonment.
