The controversy arose during a segment of the program ‘Everything is filtered‘, in which Jonathan Maicelo was invited to talk about his recent rhinoplasty. In that context, Kurt Villavicencio commented that Samantha was doing live broadcasts with the streamer known as Neutro. However, he added a criticism regarding how the model was presented, insinuating that she was being projected in an unseemly manner.
Under pressure, Kurt Villavicencio took a few moments during his show to publicly apologize to Samantha. “I made a comment that affected Samantha, and she said that they had denigrated her as a woman and that I had discriminated against her. From here I apologize publicly and on television,” said the driver.
Villavicencio also revealed that he took responsibility for his words and explained that he had previously apologized privately. “Yesterday I called her after the program, I apologized on the phone and told her that I like direct things. When I make a mistake, I assume the consequences and I am responsible for what I have said,” he added.
In addition to this, he noted that he invited Samantha Batallanos to his program and hopes that they can dispel any type of misunderstanding live.
