The Kuwaiti national team defeated its counterpart Nepal 4-1 during the match that brought them together on Saturday in the second round of Group A competitions in the qualifiers for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
The Kuwaiti team’s goals were scored by Fahd Al-Rashidi in the 28th minute, Youssef Al-Salman (two goals) in the 48th and 70th minutes, and Mubarak Al-Fenini in the 73rd minute.
Darshan Gurung scored the only goal for Nepal in the fourth minute of stoppage time, and the Kuwaiti team scored its first three points in the qualifiers, while the Nepal team remained without credit.
