Two per cent of the construction work has been completed. Of these, four per cent are fully operational. Five per cent of the projects have not yet entered the planning stage. Companies that have entered into agreements with various government agencies seem to be putting off projects because of the prevailing labor situation. Electricity projects, water projects and housing projects are now half done. All this has reached the point where it is being handed over to the government.

The main reason for putting up projects is that there are not enough workers. The company had relocated a large number of people to their homeland in the wake of the Kovid outbreak. By this time everything was done. Because of this many projects cannot be completed on time. Many projects were halted due to Kovid. Road renovation is one of the most successful development activities during the Kovid period in Kuwait. Curfew time is only useful for road development projects. Road work in Kuwait was completed twice as fast during the curfew.
