This Friday, the Teatre Victòria hosted a special live program to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the leading afternoon radio program in Spain, La Ventana, with Carles Francino at the helm as current director and presenter of the radio program. Cadena SER accompanied by the former directors of the program Javier Sardá and Gemma Nierga. Along with Francino, Sardá and Nierga, some of the main protagonists in the history of the program have participated: collaborators and personalities linked to its history. A meeting full of emotion and unforgettable moments that are already part of the radio legacy of our country.
With emotion running high, Francino started the program: “I am very happy, very excited, because today we celebrate 30 years of La Ventana at the Victoria Theater in Barcelona with a lot of friends and a lot of listeners and especially with Javier Sardá and Gemma Nierga.” The first hour of the special has been a journey through the history of La Ventana with the participation of Javier Sardá, Gemma Nierga, Andreu Buenafuente, Boris Izaguirre, Isaías Lafuente, Carmen Colino and Jordi Martí, iconic figures who have left their mark on the program over the years.
At 5:00 p.m., the outstanding interventions of Javier del Pino and Juan José Millás arrived and then gave way to humor with Toni Martínez, Secondary Specialists and, again, Isaías Lafuente with his well-known “Surveillance Unit.”
30th anniversary of ‘La Ventana’
Finally, at 6:00 p.m., music enveloped the Teatre Victòria with the participation of Iñaki de la Torre and Benjamín Prado, and live performances by renowned artists such as Silvia Pérez Cruz, Estopa and Arkano.
Different personalities from the world of politics such as Joan Subirats, Jaume Collboni, Salvador Illa or Manel Balcells, among others, also did not want to miss this special day for Cadena SER.
This meeting at the Teatre Victória has been an essential event for all radio lovers and followers of the program.
Since its inception in 1993, La Ventana has been a witness and narrator of the recent history of Spain, and has entertained, accompanied and been part of the daily lives of thousands of listeners.
