The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has set the date for the Africa Cup of Nations finals, which will be held in 2025 in Morocco.
The university confirmed that the African Cup finals will be held in the summer of next year, as an embodiment of the high patronage that His Majesty King Mohammed VI attaches to national football.
Fawzi Lakjaa also announced the renewal of confidence in national voter Walid Regragui as head of the technical staff of the first Moroccan football team, despite the exclusion at the hands of South Africa, in the final round of the Africa Cup of Nations.
A number of reports recently indicated the possibility of changing the date of the 2025 African Cup from summer to winter.
These reports were circulated due to the overlap between the next Cannes edition and the Club World Cup, as the latter will be organized in the summer of 2025, with the participation of 32 teams from different continents.
