Fawzi Lakjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, said today, Saturday, that the Kingdom, along with Spain and Portugal, is determined to organize the best edition in the history of the World Cup.
During the press conference for the signing ceremony of the letter of intent to host the 2030 World Cup, Lakjaa confirmed that the Kingdom will stand behind His Majesty King Mohammed VI to make this global event a success.
The President of the Royal Moroccan University renewed his thanks to His Majesty the King, may God grant him victory, for the care he takes to develop football, in particular, and sports in general.
The same spokesman added that the joint organization will be an opportunity for Portugal, Spain and Morocco to consolidate relations between them, as well as to serve human and civilizational values.
The same speaker highlighted that Morocco’s people and government will mobilize behind His Majesty the King, alongside our brothers in Spain and Portugal, stressing that this demonstration is an opportunity for African and European youth to work side by side.
Fawzi Lakjaa explained that Morocco, Spain and Portugal must demonstrate common civilization, while creating a space that accommodates everyone, without confining it to specific geographical boundaries.
