All the anti-YCP parties are demanding to take back Jivo. However, former CBI JD Lakshminarayana has declared support for the Jagan government in this matter. He commented that Jio 1 is correct. He said that it is good to implement this law in the wake of some recent tragic events. Lakshminarayana said that it would be good to make police permission mandatory for selecting suitable places while holding meetings on roads. He made it clear that such creatures should be welcomed.
But Lakshminarayana demanded that this provision should be applied equally to all parties. He said that it is not a good practice for the police to impose restrictions and block the meetings of other parties while giving permission to the meetings of the ruling parties. It is suggested that Jivo should apply equally to all. Lakshminarayana responded to the ongoing campaign of early elections in the state. He said that he does not think that there will be early elections.
Lakshminarayana pointed out that it is not right to demand a separate state for Uttarandhra. He said that the demand of small states is not correct. Lakshminarayana responded to Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao’s comments that Amaravati should be the capital of Uttarandhra as a separate state. Such comments are inappropriate. Lakshminarayana recently visited his adopted Sahlalaputtuga in Srikakulam district. Speaking to the media on this occasion, he defended Jio 1.
