At one time both Lakshya and Victor were on equal footing, but in a short time Lakshya took the lead over Victor.
When Lakshya Sen had scored 11 points, Victor was on just 9 points. At one point, Lakshya Sen had taken a lead of 5 points. However, after this, the Danish shuttler also made a strong comeback and made the match exciting. During this, Victor Excelsen’s condition became worse in scoring every point. Lakshya Sen looked a bit in trouble after reaching 18 points. During this, Victor got a chance to take the lead.
Victor Excelsen made a strong comeback and brought the lead to just 1 point, but at the end of the game Victor made a mistake due to which Lakshya Sen got the game point but the victory slipped out of his hands. Lakshya was standing right on the threshold of victory, but Victor fought hard for the last two points and won the game 20-22.
