Review:
Aamir Khan is one of the top heroes who are interested in doing different movies and characters in Bollywood. This is something everyone knows. Especially, he not only chooses different movies and roles, but the effort he makes to adapt to them is amazing. Movies like Three Idiots, PK, Dangal can be said to be examples of that. After all, his previous film Thugs of Hindostan was a disaster. But if he pierced his nose and ears for his role in that movie, we should understand his commitment. Aamir Khan once again tried to make such an attempt in ‘Lal Singh Chadda’.
At the age of seven, Aamir Khan once again took a risk with his look for the film ‘Lal Singh Chadha’. Weight gain and loss. He lost weight for a mature role. The same look was maintained for the role of Army. He has built up his muscles to look middle-aged. After that, they got a little fat. Looking at Aamir’s experiments with this look, one cannot help but appreciate it. But there is no doubt that all the gestures he made in this will remind us of PK. Emotions are the main strength of this movie. These emotions are carried around Aamir Khan’s character. But none of them connect with the audience. At one stage it turned into a comedy. The story of the movie is slow. The combination of characters and scenes without emotions seems boring.
Kareena Kapoor’s character also doesn’t connect with the audience. Her role is shown to finally reach the hero, yearning for something. Naga Chaitanya’s role in the key role is interesting.. That is not the case. As long as his character appears with cheddis and bunions, the audience is dying. This is not the story of Lal Singh Chadda.. It is an undeniable truth that the story of Lal Singh Cheddi and Banyan is as troubling as it seems. And I don’t understand why Naga Chaitanya was okay to do such a role. Actually that was the role that Vijay Sethupathi should have done. He should escape and say that Chaitanya is stuck.
Neither the character of the hero’s mother nor his supporting characters connect with the audience. Aamir Khan’s film will have a tinge of comedy. It was missed in the movie. Music and background music seemed to be unrelated. Cinematography is ok.
Aamir Khan worked hard for almost four years for Lal Singh Chadda. I feel like I have to work so hard for this movie. I felt that this is his dream project. What the original movie wanted to say is understood by the audience coming out of the theater. The emotions that are supposed to connect with the audience are missing in the film.
Finally.. ‘Lal Singh Chadda’.. Aamir’s failed attempt again
