Landslide at work site; Three expatriates die, one injured in Oman

Oman: Two expatriates died in a landslide at their workplace in Oman. One person was injured. The incident took place in Bidbid, Al Dakhiliya Governorate, Oman. The accident happened at the working site of a company. The news is reported by local media in Oman.

As soon as the information about the accident was received, rescue workers from the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department reached the spot. Information related to this has been released by Oman Civil Defence. It is reported that the soil fell on top of the workers who were working. The news is reported by Asianet. Civil Defense informed that three people were pulled out from the accident site.

A native of Muscat was injured in a building fire the other day. The incident took place in the southern Mabela region of Seeb Province in Muscat Governorate. Civil Defense immediately reached the spot to provide emergency medical aid to the native. According to the note released by the authorities on the day of the accident, the health condition of the injured person is satisfactory.

Meanwhile, construction of a temporary road is in progress to connect two villages in Khaburah Wilayat of North Bathina Governorate. The work of constructing the road is being done under the leadership of Khabura Municipality. A road is being built connecting Qasabiyat Al Sab and Qasiyat Al Hawasna. The road under construction is temporary.
