On November 26, 2008, terrorists of Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba attacked Mumbai. The Israeli government has taken this decision just days before the annual dark days of the attack.
Israel said that the attack by Lashkar-e-Taiba on India was deadly and condemnable, and for the same reason, it has taken a decision to ban this terrorist organization. If you look at it like that, India has not requested the government of Israel to ban Lashkar-e-Taiba!
The Israeli Embassy has also accepted this idea. The Government of India did not request us to ban Lashkar-e-Taiba. However, the Israeli government has said that it has voluntarily added the name of Lashkar-e-Taiba to the list of organizations designated as terrorist organizations. The government of Israel said that all the necessary measures to be taken in this regard have already been completed.
