Artist Latifa Raafat put an end to the controversy that accompanied her name’s involvement in the Mabat case known as “Escobar of the Desert,” indicating that she no longer has any relationship with the financial “baron.”
The Moroccan artist broke her silence, highlighting in a video that she shared with her followers on Instagram, that the period she spent with her ex-husband did not exceed 5 months, after which she decided to separate from him, and that she was not aware of the criminal acts he had committed, adding that she had met him in a matter of days. 15 days, then he proposed to her for her hand in marriage.
The same spokeswoman confirmed that she met her ex-husband as a businessman and owner of a group of major projects, and she continued, saying: “I did not know that he was Baron, but you knew him as a businessman.”
Raafat revealed that the reason for her recent travel to the French capital, Paris, was to spend a short vacation with her daughter and husband, denying that she fled Morocco because of the “Escobar of the Desert” case, saying: “The law exists in the country.”
