DiversityInc, a firm dedicated to the study of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, announced what are the best companies in which Latino executives can work in the United States.
The institution recently reported the DiversityInc Top 50, where it provides a snapshot of the employer and investor data transparency, equitable human capital outcomes for US employers and the effectiveness of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy, policies and practices.
In addition to establishing the Top 50, the DiversityInc survey finds 15 additional lists focused on developing talentleadership responsibility, executive representation of people of color and more.
One of these lists is “The best companies for Latino executives”which this year lists 24 companies evaluating their performance against the overall performance of all competitors on six key aspects of workplace equity:
· Human capital metrics at four management levels: total management, total workforce, promotions, retention and new hires.
· Leadership Responsibility: It looks at the board of directors, the CEO, and senior leadership.
· Talent Programs: Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Mentoring, High Potential and Sponsorship Programs.
· Workforce Practices: talent acquisition, talent management, onboarding, benefits and supplier diversity.
· Diversity of suppliers: spending on businesses owned by people from underrepresented groups.
Philanthropy: Contributions to non-profit organizations focused on individuals from underrepresented groups and employee volunteerism.
