The House of Music Higher Institute in Riyadh launched the first music diploma accredited by the Ministry of Culture, the first of its kind in the Kingdom, and represents a quantum leap in the field of education through the tracks of education and musical performance, in line with future aspirations.
And the Executive Director of the Institute, Moataz Al-Shabanah, stated, during a press conference held on Monday at the Institute’s headquarters, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture for National Partnerships and Development, Noha Qattan, and a number of media professionals and musicians, that the diploma program will start during the current month of September at the rate of two academic years, stressing that the program contributes to spreading the culture of music as a A universal language and a channel for building bridges of communication with other cultures.
He pointed out that the program includes two tracks: They are musical education and musical performance, and qualifies the graduate to be a music teacher in schools, or a professional instrumentalist, according to accredited academic curricula that are compatible with the best international educational curricula.
