‘In August 2019, I and Puri told you (Vijay Devarakonda) the story. When you heard the story, you said, “Let’s take it down.” In January 2022, we completed the shooting of the major part in the first schedule for 45 days. After that came the first lockdown and second lockdowns. Vijay was very much looking forward to the start of the shoot. He maintained the body like that for two years. As a producer, we faced many challenges. 95 percent of the time from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed, I hear negatives.
There was a huge offer to release in OTT when there was no money during the lockdown. Not a single rupee in pocket. It takes guts to reject a huge offer. I got it because of Puri..’ Charmi burst into tears. Puri asked, ‘I understand your problem.. how many times do you cry..’ Charmi cried uncontrollably.
The film should be released. Covid time. After that there are movies made before. After many hardships, we are coming to you on August 25. Vijay Devarakonda has stood strong for me and Puri in this entire journey. He always stood by us without asking anything. Liger movie completed by Vijay. We believe in liger content.
