There may be more communities affected by salmon with listeria
The initial distribution has taken place in these five autonomous regions, although it cannot be ruled out that there may be redistributions to other regions.
The Aesan has transferred the information to the competent authorities of the autonomous communities through the Coordinated System for Rapid Information Exchange (Sciri) in order to verify the withdrawal of the affected products from the marketing channels.
The information is the result of the self-control of the company itself, which has communicated the incident to the competent authorities, in compliance with the legislation and in order not to make unsafe food available to the population.
As a precautionary measure, the agency has recommended that people who have products affected by this alert at home refrain from consuming them.
In the case of having consumed any and presenting symptoms compatible with listeriosis (vomiting, diarrhea or fever), it is pertinent to go to a health center.
