At the same time, a section of the RJD which was not in agreement with Shreyams Kumar’s joining has responded by forming a new party. The name of this party is National Janata Dal. National Janata Dal President John John responded that RJD was bought by LJD. Shreyams Kumar has joined the party without discussing with the state leadership. National Janata Dal will stand with UDF. John John said he wanted to find out what happened to Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav who was at the Kalpatta resort from May 28 to 31. Tejashwi arrived in a chartered flight at the expense of the Bihar government. John John responded that he wanted to know how he was blackmailed.
At the same time, Shreyams Kumar invited JDS, which is currently facing crisis, to RJD. He also said that JDS does not know how it can continue with the national leadership in NDA. Meanwhile, the state executive committee meeting of the JDS has not announced any clear decisions. The state committee meeting on 11th of this month may get some more clarity. JDS is not thinking of forming a new party now. But that’s not to say that there won’t be a merger in the future.
Shreyams Kumar said that RJD is a party that has not made peace with communal forces all the time. It was for this reason that the decision was taken to merge with RJD. He also stated that they invite like-minded parties to join them.
Caste census should be implemented
Shreyams Kumar said that caste census should be implemented in the country. Even though there are no caste problems in Kerala, Kerala cannot stand aside when there is 33 percent reservation at the national level.
