New Delhi. Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani has been admitted to Apollo Hospital. He has neuro-related problems. He is undergoing treatment under the supervision of Dr. Vineet Suri, a specialist in the Neurology Department of the hospital.
96 year old LK Advani is currently under doctor’s observation. Earlier, Advani was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi in the first week of July this year and also in the month of August. The senior BJP leader was discharged from the hospital after being kept under medical observation for two days. He was kept under the supervision of Dr. Vineet Suri, Senior Consultant, Neurology Department.
Before Apollo, Advani (LK Advani) was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Delhi AIIMS) and was discharged from the hospital after being kept there overnight. Let us tell you that Lal Krishna Advani was born on November 8, 1927 in Karachi, Pakistan. Advani celebrated his 98th birthday on 8th November. Advani was the Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004 and the Union Home Minister from 1999 to 2004.
Lal Krishna Advani was awarded the country’s highest civilian honor ‘Bharat Ratna’. President Draupadi Murmu bestowed this honor on Advani by visiting his residence in March. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah and Advani’s family members were present in this honor ceremony.
