Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram commented that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has made a good announcement that Visakhapatnam will soon become the state capital. He said that all the people of the state are happy with CM Jagan’s announcement. He said that even if you do a Google search for the state capital of Andhra Pradesh, Visakhapatnam is shown. He said that Visakhapatnam is a hub of connectivity in all ways.

Speaker Tammineni Seetharam said that industrial giants are also showing interest in Visakhapatnam. He recalled that Chief Minister Jagan himself had said that he would soon shift to Visakhapatnam. He said that Visakhapatnam has a wide coastal area.. It is going to become an industrial corridor. It was explained that the construction of ports, harbors and teams in this area is being done on a war footing.
