Poosapati Ashok Gajapati Raju said that they are looking to remove him from the post of chairman of the Simhachalam Temple Trust Board. They are ready to remove anyone who acts against the law.
Pusapati Ashok Gajapathiraju, a senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party, former Union Minister and hereditary trustee of the Simhachalam temple, has once again leveled serious allegations against the YCP government. He accused the government of looking to remove him from the post of chairman of the trust board. Ashok Gajapathiraju told the media after attending the temple governing body meeting on Tuesday that the government and the temple have different views.
Ashok Gajapathiraju said the board of trustees had not taken the decisions that the government should take. He recalled that former Revenue Minister Vellampalli Srinivas had publicly announced his removal from the post of chairman. In this context, it was clarified that no risk can be taken in connection with the decision to repair houses in the five villages. He said the government was looking forward to removing him from the post of trust board chairman if he acted against the law. Ashok Gajapati Raju said that if the proposal of the board members is sent, there is no objection to taking legal advice and approving it if it is legal. He told the board members of the trust to take a resolution on the five villages. On the other hand, a Rajya Sabha member said that he was pressuring the minister to remove him. He clarified that the ruling party had not violated the law in the matter of Panchagrama.
