Hexworks, the developer of Lords of the Fallen, has shown its roadmap for free Lords of the Fallen updates for the remainder of the year and, we understand, early 2024.
From what it seems there will be improvements and changes to some of the game mechanics, but there will also be a completely new quest line that will extend the story.
Additionally, the team is committed to adding weekly improvements to stability, bugs, multiplayer, boss balance, and more.
Hexworks has also launched an in-game Halloween event, which will remain permanent, and a reduction in enemy density to make it easier for us not to suffocate while we explore.
These are all the improvements that will be added:
- Umbral, Rhogar, and Radiant armor sets and questlines
- Two new spell packs
- Two inventory expansions
- Two new Grievous Strikes
- Secret Boss Special Weapon Skills
- Possibility of remapping controls
- PvE and PvP Balance Changes
- New Game Plus and modifiers
Lords of the Fallen has already received quite a few updates since its original release on October 13. Some of them have been intended to resolve the poor performance that players and analysts reported on all platforms. Others have added options such as New Game Plus, although as the team has already warned, there are still modifiers and improvements to add for this modality.
In our analysis of Lords of the Fallen, we said of it that it was “Proof that there are many worlds left to discover after Elden Ring.”
