We have seen many different types of puppies with different noses, eyes and colors. Each item has its own characteristics. Lou, a puppy from Oregon, USA, is now famous for his unusual limbs.
Lou, the puppy with the longest ear, broke the Guinness World Record in 2022. At just three years old, this cute puppy has a 34 cm long ear. That is, 68 cm (26.77 inches) with both ears.
Lou is a three-year-old black and tan coonhound puppy. With this, Lou holds the record for the longest ear of a living puppy.
Louis’ owner, Page Olsen, has always joked that their puppy’s ear is too big. But it was during the lockdown that Olsen realized that this was the only feature of his puppy. Also read: Can you figure out how many horses there are in this picture? Find out what your personality is
When we see it we feel that these ears are very difficult to care for but there is no such problem. Lou’s ears change only once a month. Lou also wears a snood on his ears to keep his ears from slipping in the winter.
Lou is a celebrity among neighbors because of his long ears. Now that the world record has been set, Lou’s gamma is also there. Olsen says it’s amazing when people see this ear. Everyone wants to touch the ear. In general, the coonhound breed is not readily available.
Ocean, who is also a veterinarian, says all puppies of the Coonhound breed have long ears. It is common to walk with your ears tucked across the floor during these walks. Ozen says they have a special ability to locate old trackcases or cold objects better than other dogs.
Lou’s Guinness World Record is not Lou’s first award. This lively and adorable puppy is a regular competitor in dog show contests. Lou has also won prizes at the American Kennel Club and Rally Obedience.
