The job listing reveals that candidates selected as Migration Foreign Service Officers through IRCC’s migration programs will have a range of responsibilities. This will include the processing of foreign applicants, risk assessment and implementation of immigration policies.
Foreign service officers spend about two-thirds of their careers overseas. Overtime may be required and may be transferred to new assignments every two to four years.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution is the minimum qualification.. Must be able to serve others in challenging situations. Proficiency in French along with English Proficiency in other foreign languages and work experience in foreign countries will be considered as additional qualifications.
