The video shows Luisito interacting with several local residents, who share their experiences and the realities of working at such a high altitude. The influencer also experiences first-hand the effects of altitude and highlights the difficulty in breathing and the need to slowly adapt to the environment to avoid altitude sickness.
“We are in La Rinconada, Peru, the highest city in the world and, therefore, the one with the least oxygen. On first impressions, I can honestly tell you, you do feel the change in altitude quite a bit. If you walk too much quickly, you get upset and you start to feel short of breath, you start to get dizzy. This city is dangerous,” he began in the video.
