Scientifically eclipse is a celestial event. Eclipses occur when the earth, sun, and moon come in a straight line. A lunar eclipse is when the earth comes between the moon and the sun and that shadow falls on the moon. A lunar eclipse occurs on the full moon. It is a total lunar eclipse. However, it is not found in India. The eclipse will occur on May 15, 16 according to different time zones in the world. According to NASA, the eclipse will occur in parts of South and West Asia, Africa, the Indian Ocean, some islands in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, and much of South America and North America.
Starting at 10.10pm on May 15. Continuing until 7.40am on May 16 (time varies depending on time zones). The eclipse will occur in all countries of North and South America, and much of western Africa. NASA says the eclipse will last a total of 3.27 hours and will cover the Moon completely with Earth shadow for 1.25 hours.
What are the colors of the sun’s rays entering the Earth’s atmosphere? Red and orange, which have a higher wavelength, travel farther. After filtration they fall on the surface of the jab. Then the moon appears in red. On the day of the lunar eclipse the sun goes into the shadow of the earth and the sunlight reaches the earth .. then reflects on the javelin. This makes the moon appear redder than normal. That is why it is called Blood Moon.
‘Shows projection of all sunrises and sunsets on Earth during a total lunar eclipse,’ NASA said.
In particular, a lunar eclipse begins with the penumbra phase. Moon .. Penumbra is the entry into the outer shadow of the earth. This then goes into the numbra (shade) phase. Unlike the penumbra it is clearly visible. A partial lunar eclipse is when the moon enters the Earth’s shadow only partially, and is called a total lunar eclipse when it enters the Earth’s shadow completely.
