Reva: A training plane crashed into a temple tower in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa district, killing the pilot. The trainee pilot was seriously injured.
The accident took place on Thursday around 11.30 pm. Sorhatta Police Station Officer J.P. Patil said, “A training aircraft crashed into a temple tower 3 km away from the Soorhatta airfield while it was engaged in training.
Pilot Vishal Yadav (30) died in the accident. Trainee pilot Anshul Yadav has been admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Medical College Hospital with critical injuries,” he said.
On learning about the incident, Rewa District Collector Manoj Pushp and Superintendent of Police Nanvneet Bhasin rushed to the spot. District officials said they are awaiting more information about the accident.
