Buxar. Magadh Express met with an accident in Dharauli near Twining (Tudiganj) Ganj station in Buxar district of Bihar. The train got divided into two parts. After this, there was a lot of screaming among the passengers. The passengers got agitated due to the accident. The accident happened on the DDU-Patna rail section, when the engine of Magadh Express went ahead with some coaches and the rest of the coaches were left behind.
Let us tell you that Magadh Express was going from New Delhi to Patna. Train number 20802 down left Dumraon Railway Station at 11:00 am with a delay of 8 minutes. At 11.06 this train proceeded from Tudiganj station. This accident happened after about 1 minute. The train was found to have split into 2 pieces after the jolt. The accident has also created panic in the Railway Ministry.
Railway officials, GRP, RPF police have reached the accident site. The Railway Ministry has ordered an inquiry into the accident and has summoned the inquiry report. The train left Dumraon Railway Station with a delay of 8 minutes at around 11 am, but after 5 minutes when the train (Magadh Express) reached Tudiganj station and moved a little ahead from there, the pressure pipe polling of the train broke near Dharauli village. As soon as the pipe broke, the train broke into two parts. When there was a strong jerk, the passengers of the bogies left behind started screaming and shouting.
Hearing the screams, people in the coaches that had gone ahead stopped the train (Magadh Express), then the pilot came to know about the train breaking. The pilot informed the station master about the accident. On receiving the information, the station master reached the spot with the team and staff. The technical team connected the pressure pipe and the train was sent to Patna but the passengers are angry due to the accident.
