Magaly Medina, host of the program ‘Magaly TV, the firm‘, has taken legal measures after accusations and derogatory comments from Cristian Zuárez, ex-husband of Laura Bozzo. Through a notarized letter, Medina demands that Zuárez publicly rectify himself for spreading false information about his relationship with the driver. The conflict began when Cristian Zuárez stated in an interview that the production of the Martín Fierro Awards did not cover Medina’s tickets to attend the event in Miami, and that it was Andres Hurtado who paid for the tickets. Furthermore, in an attempt to discredit her, he maintained that the journalist had been Hurtado’s ‘escort’ during the award ceremony. Faced with these statements, Medina, through his lawyer Benji Espinoza, requested an immediate correction in the same terms and means where the erroneous information was disclosed. “In a period of no more than 48 hours, rectify your false statements against me,” reads the letter sent by the driver.

In a second notarized letter, the ‘Urraca’ also demands a public apology for the strong epithets used by Zuárez in the ‘Chimi Churri’ podcast, where he called him a ‘bitch’ and ‘disgraceful’. The driver considers that these attacks are not only unjustified, but also a violation of her dignity. “I ask that you offer a public apology, using the same media where the statements were made,” the letter highlighted. In addition, Medina requested that Zuárez refrain from making new defamatory comments.
