A record crowd thronged the Jeddah Al Waziria Stadium to witness a battle of equal strength between the two teams, including former ISL, Santosh Trophy, I-League, Calicut and Annamalai University players.
Analytics Red Sea Blasters defeated Makkah BCC by four goals to one in the first match in the B Division. Munawwar Ali, Mohammad Nooruddin and Mohammad Fazil Abdulnafih scored for the winners while Makkah BCC’s consolation goal was scored by Mohammad Unni.
In the second match, Modern Foods defeated Friday Friends Jeddah Junior by five goals against Iwa Foods-Abeer Blue Star Two. Dilshad, Muhammad Anas and Muhammad Ashif scored one goal each and Muhammad Ashiq scored two goals while Muhammad Jasim and Muhammad Tasneem scored goals for Friday Friends.
Mohammad Arshad was selected as the star of Sabeen FC-Mahjar FC match. Malayalam News Reporter P Main Kutty presented the trophy to Mohammad Arshad, who played a great role in Mahjar FC’s defense in countering Sabine’s attacks. Muhammad Fazil of Red Sea Blasters was awarded the Master Trophy by PT Sharif who was adjudged the best player in the first match of the B Division. Blue Star-Friday Friends star of the match is Mohammad Ashiq. Salah Caratan presented the Blue Star player with the trophy.
