Almora.Information about a major bus accident has come to light from Almora, Uttarakhand. The bus fell into a ditch in Marchula, Almora. So far, it has come to light that bodies of 7 people have been recovered from this accident. It is being told that about 40 people were traveling in the bus. The bus was going from Naini Danda to Ramnagar.
It is discussed that about 25 people have died in the accident, although the number of injured and dead has not been officially confirmed. The district administration has sent a team and ambulance to the spot for the rescue operation. On Monday morning, a bus from Ramnagar was going towards Ranikhet. On reaching Marchula, the bus lost control and fell into a deep gorge. Rescue work is being done.
The depth of the ditch in which the bus fell is more than 100 meters. Police and administration have intensified the rescue work. Ambulances from Ramnagar and Almora have been dispatched to the spot. Preparations are being made for the treatment of the injured in Ramnagar and Sushila Tiwari hospitals. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami has posted on Almora bus accident.

He wrote, Very sad news was received about the casualties in the unfortunate bus accident in Marchula of Almora district. The district administration has been instructed to conduct relief and rescue operations swiftly. The local administration and SDRF teams at the incident site are working quickly to evacuate the injured and take them to the nearest health center for treatment. Instructions have also been given to airlift seriously injured passengers if necessary.
