Saudi: A woman died in a car accident in which Malayalees who were returning from Saudi Arabia to Bahrain to renew their visit visas. The accident happened near Riyadh this morning. Hamsa’s wife Khairunnisa, a native of Mankada Vellila in Malappuram, died at Pallikathodi house.
Mujeeb and his wife, a native of Malappuram Karuwarakund, were injured in the accident. The three-year-old son of deceased Khairunnisa, Muhammad Raihan, was also injured. Khairunnisa’s husband Hamza escaped without major injuries. The injured are also in King Khalid Hospital. They left for Bahten to renew their visit visas from a place called Sahana near Arale Alkharj, 70 km from Riyadh. Both families came to Saudi Arabia on visitor visas. While returning to Saudi after renewing his visa, the car met with an accident about 150 km before reaching Alkharj. The cause of the accident was that the car they were traveling in went out of control and overturned. Khamarunissa died on the spot. Apart from Mohammad Raihan, Khamarunissa has two children, Mohammad Razi and Fatima Rifa. They are in the country. Qamarunissa came on a visit visa to her husband who is working in Saudi.

If you want to renew your visa, you have to go out of the country. That is the law. So when they go to Bahrain via Dammam Causeway and renew their visas, the accident happens. It has been decided to take the dead body to the country after completing the procedures. Alkharj KMCC Welfare Wing, Riyad KMCC Malappuram District Welfare Wing officials are present.
